Version 1.3.1 Release

Fixed a problem that affects Windows 10 or 11, where the user interface would behave erratically or various buttons and icons would not display correctly. This was due to a faulty application manifest needed to inform Windows of the correct compatibility mode to run Matryoshka.

Version 1.3.0 Release

• Version slideshow: after saving a number of different versions of the same project, you can review all the images as a fullscreen slideshow using the shortcut Ctrl + F5. A dialog prompts the user to set an interval between slides in seconds. Pressing ESC cancels the show.
• Flipping the mother image: can be done in the layout view, but in generation view the effect of the flip was not visible. This issue is now fixed.
• Bad PNG/JPEG image files now raise an error dialog and prevent an application crash.
• Memory use optimizations.
• Improved stability: fixed a number of issues causing the application to crash.

Version 1.1.2 Release

• Automatic versioning: after the first time you save your fractal project, you can automatically apply a new version number to the filename of any subsequent save using the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + S
• More efficient object resizing: by applying an accelerator effect to the mouse wheel you can now quickly make a big adjustment in the size of a daughter object, but also fine tune slowly as required.
• Ensuring changes saved: clicking on the main application close button will now warn user of any unsaved changes. (Usually a button with an X on the right side of the title bar)

Version 1.0.9 Release

• Woops ! Changed the name of the executable program and then forgot to update the installer package with the new name. This fixes the installation problem.

• Fixed issue of rotation knob and delete button being too small if subject image is very narrow
• Improved positioning of context menus in layout view

• Fixed issue in layout view when right-clicking on objects that are tall and narrow. It was causing the application to crash.
